This edition of the Brisbane Home Show features two dynamic stages designed to inspire and elevate your home and lifestyle.
The Home Inspo Stage brings together leading Home Design Experts who share the latest trends, innovative ideas, and practical tips to help transform your living spaces.
At the same time, the Cooking Stage will be graced by renowned chef Carmel Carmichael, who will demonstrate her expertise in creating mouthwatering dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Next Home Show
The Home Inspo Stage is the place where innovation meets inspiration. Each day, the Home Inspo Stage showcases Home Design Experts, offering a wealth of knowledge, trends, and practical tips.
James is a Sydney-based, award-winning Interior Designer with over 30 years of experience. He is a TV presenter on shows like Open Homes Australia and Renovate Or Rebuild.
James is known for his practical approach to design and his advocacy for reusable and renewable materials. He has launched an online course called Practical Design to share his expertise with others.
COLORBOND Steel
Kaela Turgeon, Design & Colour Consultant at COLORBOND® steel, boasts 20 years' experience in interior design and residential building. She specialises in creating durable, beautiful exteriors that harmonise with surrounding landscapes. Kaela's passion lies in inspiring homeowners to achieve timeless, cohesive designs from the outside in.
Eighty8 Interior Designs
Renowned interior designer Candice O'Rourke, with 15 years of industry expertise, is celebrated for her eclectic style and unique approach—blending cherished treasures with contemporary elements. TAFE educator, visual merchandiser, and creator of a bespoke soft furnishings range.
Axiom Construction Group
Claire has 20 years in construction, is a licensed builder, interior designer, guest speaker, mentor, and advocate for women in the industry. She’s chair of AWIC and an ambassador for EWIC. Claire won the 2024 QMBA Woman In Construction awards and leads Axiom Construction Group, a state award-winning company.
Grafico
Started in Nonna's garage, Grafico now leads in custom print wallpapers, wall graphics, and high-quality design. Serving brands like Louis Vuitton, Lexus, and appearing on *The Block*, Grafico designs and manufactures locally, shipping globally. Co-owned with wife Adele, they balance business growth with family life.
Interior Designer
Dave will share insights on transforming kitchens with a designer’s approach, covering key principles, design elements, and tech integration for a functional, enchanting space.
Bed Space Design
Maree Coster is an Interior Designer specializing in multipurpose spaces that blend functionality and aesthetics. She creates bespoke wall bed designs for Bed Space Design, focusing on clients' unique needs to enhance their lifestyles and add value to their homes.
Latemore Design
Peter Latemore, a Building Designer since 1979, specializes in residential design, particularly Queenslanders. A Life Member of BDQ, he emphasizes collaboration with consultants, owners, and builders to ensure designs align with the initial vision. Peter has also spoken at multiple Home Shows.
The Cooking Stage is where culinary creativity comes to life. Each day, renowned chef Carmel Carmichael will take the stage, sharing her knowledge, skills, and delicious recipes to inspire your next kitchen adventure. From innovative dishes to expert techniques, Carmel’s sessions are the perfect way to ignite your passion for cooking.
For over 30 years, Carmel has championed Australia’s freshest local ingredients, working alongside Fresh Food Retailers to highlight seasonal produce and creative ways to prepare it. Her Southern Italian heritage fuels her passion for cooking wholesome meals that everyone can enjoy.
Carmel’s advocacy for locally sourced, nourishing food has seen her share the stage with celebrity chefs on shows like MasterChef and MKR, as well as collaborate with chefs across Queensland and Australia. Her culinary journey has taken her across the country, from Western Australia to Queensland.
At the upcoming Home Show in Brisbane, Carmel will be cooking a range of delicious dishes, showcasing fresh, seasonal ingredients.
