The WasteSorted team can provide you with a range of useful tips, tricks and solutions to avoiding waste, recycling correctly (including those tricky items) and making it super easy to be a GREAT Sort at home. See what a WasteSorted kitchen looks like, learn practical ways to avoid food waste, and discover helpful tools to ditch disposables with giveaways to get you started. You’re invited to join the GREAT Sorts in your community by Gifting, Recycling, Earth-cycling, Avoiding, Taking items to drop-off locations and ultimately, doing ‘better than the bin’. WasteSorted and the GREAT Sorts campaign is a WA State Government initiative funded by the Waste Authority that provides a suite of free resources for local governments to help residents sort their waste correctly, reduce contamination in kerbside bins and increase material recovery and recycling.
