Margaret River Trees

Margaret River Trees

Grass trees have been used for centuries as a pantry of food, medicines, and weaponary. Its botantical name, Xantherrhoea, means yellow flow, referring to the distinctive sap they produce, which even today is a specialist aromatic luxury product. Grass trees can live for 600 years and are among the oldest living plants on the planet. We have the greatest and biggest variety of Grass Trees in the world, some of which were ‘born’ before Captain Cook’s dad! Every one of our Grass trees is saved from bulldozer, preserving these spirits of the Australian bush.
