Building & Plumbing Commission

The BPC is Victoria’s new, more powerful building regulator – bringing regulation, dispute resolution and domestic building insurance together under one roof. The BPC was formed by bringing together the Victorian Building Authority, Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria and the domestic building insurance arm of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority. The BPC provides a single front door to help consumers navigate the system and hold practitioners to account.
